On the occasion of International Yoga Day 2025, IMS Ghaziabad (University Courses Campus) organized a vibrant celebration on June 21, 2025, in collaboration with Civil Defence Ghaziabad, District Administration Ghaziabad, and the Ghaziabad Management Association (GMA). The event was a resounding success and aligned with this year’s global theme, “Yoga for Self and Society.”

The celebration was graced by the esteemed presence of Shri Keshav Prasad Maurya Ji, Hon'ble Deputy Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, as the Chief Guest. In his inspiring address, Shri Maurya Ji emphasized the significance of incorporating Yoga into daily life for improved physical health, mental clarity, and spiritual balance. He also applauded the collaborative effort of the institution and the local authorities in promoting wellness among youth and citizens.

The program began with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp by Shri Keshav Prasad Maurya Ji, Hon’ble Deputy Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh with Shri Atul Garg, Member of Parliament and CA Dr.Rakesh Chharia ji, General Secretary of IMS Ghaziabad (University Courses Campus). The celebrations commenced with an inspiring speech by the Honourable Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi ji emphasizing the significance of yoga in promoting holistic well-being and global harmony. A structured Yoga session was then led by certified Dr.Yash Parashar Acharya ji where participants performed various asanas, pranayama, and meditation exercises.
